AGM / AGO / AGE

Every Algerian listed company holds at least one general shareholder meeting per year. Two flavours:

AGO (Assemblée Générale Ordinaire) — the annual meeting. Approves the previous year's accounts, votes on the dividend, renews directors. Standard housekeeping, usually held within six months of year-end.

AGE (Assemblée Générale Extraordinaire) — called for anything that changes the company's statutes: capital increases, mergers, dissolution. Higher quorum than the AGO, stricter majority requirements.

Both are public events listed on the Calendar. Resolutions are filed with the CRC and surface as press summaries afterwards.
